Mixtape Sync hält Smart Playlists auf deinem Musikserver aktuell: einem Subsonic-kompatiblen Server wie Navidrome oder einem Jellyfin-Server (Testversionen können sich auch mit TIDAL und Spotify verbinden). Mixtape Sync hat keinen eigenen Server: Alles, was hier beschrieben ist, wird auf deinem Gerät verarbeitet oder direkt zwischen deinem Gerät und dem von dir gewählten Musikdienst ausgetauscht. Mixtape Sync enthält keine Analyse-Tools, keine Werbung und kein Tracking.
Deine Nutzer-ID und deinen Anzeigenamen beim Musikdienst (bei deinem eigenen Server: dessen Adresse und deinen Benutzernamen, bei einem Subsonic-Server auch dein Passwort, bei Jellyfin nur das Sitzungs-Token); die Zugriffs- und Aktualisierungs-Token, die der Dienst beim Verbinden ausstellt (gespeichert im Android Keystore bzw. in der iOS-Keychain); deine Smart Playlists (Name, Quellen wie Künstler, Alben, Titel oder Playlists mit Namen und IDs, Regeln und Synchronisierungsstatus); deine Synchronisierungs-Einstellungen; und deine letzten Quellen-Suchen.
Bei Spotify und TIDAL meldest du dich auf der Login-Seite des Dienstes an; Mixtape Sync sieht dein Passwort nie. Bei deinem eigenen Server (Subsonic-kompatibel oder Jellyfin) gibst du Adresse, Benutzernamen und Passwort in Mixtape Sync ein. Bei einem Subsonic-Server werden sie verschlüsselt auf deinem Gerät gespeichert und nur an diesen Server gesendet (Mixtape Sync sendet einen Hash mit Salt statt des Klartext-Passworts); bei Jellyfin wird das Passwort einmal zur Anmeldung gesendet und nur das Sitzungs-Token gespeichert. Du solltest nur Servern vertrauen, die du kennst. Mixtape Sync fragt dann beim Dienst die Berechtigung an, deine Playlists zu lesen sowie Playlists anzulegen und zu ändern, und sendet Anfragen, um Künstler, Alben und Titel zu suchen, die Titel deiner Quellen zu lesen und die von Mixtape Sync gepflegten Playlists zu aktualisieren. Der Dienst verarbeitet diese Daten nach seiner eigenen Datenschutzerklärung (bei Spotify: spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy).
Die Daten werden ausschließlich verwendet, um die von dir gewünschten Funktionen bereitzustellen (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Sie werden nicht für andere Zwecke genutzt und an niemanden außer den von dir gewählten Musikdienst weitergegeben.
Die Daten bleiben auf deinem Gerät, bis du in den Einstellungen auf „Trennen“ tippst (das löscht alles) oder die App deinstallierst. Von Mixtape Sync angelegte Playlists bleiben in deiner Musikbibliothek; lösche sie dort, wenn du sie nicht mehr möchtest. Den Zugriff von Mixtape Sync kannst du außerdem jederzeit in den Kontoeinstellungen des Musikdienstes widerrufen (bei Spotify: spotify.com/account/apps).
Wenn du Mixtape Sync Pro kaufst, wickelt Google Play den Kauf und die Zahlung ab. Google verarbeitet deine Zahlungsdaten nach der eigenen Datenschutzerklärung. Mixtape Sync erfährt von Google Play nur, ob du Mixtape Sync Pro besitzt; Zahlungsdaten erhält Mixtape Sync nicht.
Da Mixtape Sync deine Daten nicht auf einem eigenen Server erhebt, speichert der Betreiber keine personenbezogenen Daten über dich. Dir stehen trotzdem die Rechte auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch nach der DSGVO zu; wende dich dafür an den im Impressum genannten Betreiber. Du kannst dich außerdem bei der österreichischen Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at) oder der Aufsichtsbehörde deines Landes beschweren.
Mixtape Sync richtet sich nicht an Kinder. Du brauchst ein Konto bei deinem Musikdienst (oder deinen eigenen Server) und musst nach dessen Bedingungen alt genug sein, ihn zu nutzen.
Diese Erklärung kann angepasst werden, wenn sich Mixtape Sync ändert. Die aktuelle Fassung findest du immer in der App unter Einstellungen.
Mixtape Sync keeps smart playlists on your music server up to date: a Subsonic-compatible server such as Navidrome, or a Jellyfin server (test versions can also connect to TIDAL and Spotify). Mixtape Sync has no server of its own: everything described here is processed on your device or exchanged directly between your device and the music service you choose. Mixtape Sync contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your user ID and display name at the music service (for your own server: its address and your user name, and with a Subsonic server also your password; with Jellyfin only the session token); the access and refresh tokens the service issues when you connect (kept in the Android Keystore or the iOS Keychain); your smart playlists (name, sources such as artists, albums, tracks or playlists with their names and IDs, rules and sync status); your sync settings; and your latest source searches.
With Spotify and TIDAL you sign in on the service’s own login page; Mixtape Sync never sees your password. With your own server (Subsonic-compatible or Jellyfin) you enter its address, your user name and your password in Mixtape Sync. With a Subsonic server they are stored encrypted on your device and only sent to that server (Mixtape Sync sends a salted hash instead of the plain password); with Jellyfin the password is sent once to sign in and only the session token is stored. You should only use servers you trust. Mixtape Sync then asks the service for permission to read your playlists and to create and change playlists, and sends requests to search for artists, albums and tracks, to read the tracks of your sources and to update the playlists it maintains. The service processes this data under its own privacy policy (for Spotify: spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy).
The data is used only to provide the functions you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is not used for any other purpose and is not passed on to anyone except the music service you chose.
The data stays on your device until you tap “Disconnect” in Settings, which deletes all of it, or you uninstall the app. Playlists that Mixtape Sync created stay in your music library; delete them there if you do not want them. You can also revoke Mixtape Sync’s access at any time in your account settings at the music service (for Spotify: spotify.com/account/apps).
If you buy Mixtape Sync Pro, Google Play handles the purchase and the payment. Google processes your payment data under its own privacy policy. Mixtape Sync only learns from Google Play whether you own Mixtape Sync Pro; it receives no payment details.
Because Mixtape Sync does not collect your data on a server of its own, the operator holds no personal data about you. You still have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR; contact the operator named in the imprint. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at) or the supervisory authority of your country.
Mixtape Sync is not aimed at children. You need an account with your music service (or your own server) and must be old enough to use it under its terms.
This policy may be updated when Mixtape Sync changes. The current version is always available in the app under Settings.
